Dolphins fans rock the Orange Bowl against the Chicago Bears - 1985

In 1985, the Chicago Bears came into the Miami Dolphins' Orange Bowl home, looking to continue a run on the season that had them 12-0. Ultimately, the Dolphins would not allow the Bears to challenge their Undefeated Season thanks to Dan Marino, the defense, and the Orange Bowl crowd.

In 1985, the Chicago Bears appeared ready to challenge the 1972 Miami Dolphins as the only team to complete a Perfect Season in NFL history. The Bears were 12-0 and were heading to Miami for a Monday Night match up with the Dolphins in the Orange Bowl.

Of course, the Dolphins were not going to allow the Bears a shot at the Undefeated Season. Dan Marino threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns, while the defense tallied six sacks. But, perhaps the most impressive thing from that game was the crowd.

The Dolphins fans came to the Orange Bowl looking to make an impact, and they did. Since we are in the middle of the bye week. I thought maybe it was time to take a look back that the impact fans can have on a game.
