In their first year under Mike McDaniel, the Miami Dolphins made the postseason for the first time since 2016. No one was quite sure what the offense was going to look like, but it exceeded expectations. McDaniel was tagged as a run guru, but it wasn’t the run game that was great. It was the Dolphins passing attack that left defenses nervous. The defensive side of the ball was a letdown as the unit struggled all season long on the field and dealt with injuries in the secondary. Josh Boyer was let go after the season and Vic Fangio is in as defensive coordinator. Expectations are pretty high for this 2023 squad.
