Christian Wilkins will play the 2023 season on his fifth-year option but is scheduled for a big payday soon. The Miami Dolphins and Wilkins have been talking about a contract extension, but nothing has come to fruition yet. Dexter Lawrence just signed a big extension with the New York Giants which helps create an idea for Wilkins and his agents on how much his new contract should be for. Wilkins has developed into one of the Dolphins best defensive players and has a great personality for the locker room. It would be a shame to see him go to another team.
