The Splash Zone 4/6/23: What roster moves do the Dolphins still need to make?

Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

NFL: Las Vegas Raiders at Miami Dolphins Jim Rassol-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins are a better football team on paper then they were a month ago. Two big additions on defense, cornerback Jalen Ramsey and linebacker David Long Jr, should improve a unit that struggled in 2022. Not many changes were needed on offense, but the expectation was that competition would be added along the offensive line to challenge at right tackle. Austin Jackson didn’t see much playing time last year so it’s hard to make a judgement call on what he’ll look like a full year in this Mike McDaniel offense. There’s not many options out there, so perhaps the Dolphins will look to add a rookie in a couple weeks during the NFL Draft.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
