It doesn’t sound like tight end, Mike Gesicki, will be back with the Miami Dolphins next season after having a down season where he was not a focal point in the Dolphins passing attack. This offense ran through the two speedy receivers, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Gesicki had to take a backseat, but he should have no trouble finding a new team to catch passes for. Don’t expect a big name to come in and start at tight end for the Dolphins. Perhaps they can roll out Hunter Long more, who didn’t play a ton of snaps last year and didn’t catch a pass all season. The Dolphins spend a third round pick on him in the 2021 draft, so perhaps it’s time they invest in him and get him some more playing time.
You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
