After the season ended, the Miami Dolphins surprisingly fired Brian Flores and were to begin a new head coach search. If reports are correct, the team wanted to go big. Reportedly, the Dolphins wanted to find a way to acquire Sean Payton from the New Orleans Saints which means the Dolphins would have had to send some sort of compensation to the Saints to “trade” for Payton. There is also reports that the team would discuss adding Tom Brady as a minority owner, but that is on hold until it is clear Brady will stay retired.
