The Splash Zone 10/10/22: Jets Dominate Dolphins 40-17

What an absolutely ugly game to watch where nothing seemed to go right for the Miami Dolphins. On the very first offensive play for the Dolphins, Teddy Bridgewater took a hard hit and would be ruled out for the remainder of the game. Which meant Skylar Thompson was going to have to take over and the passing attack struggled all game. On the bright side, the running game was very effective with Raheem Mostert leading the way.

Defensively the Dolphins did not get the job done. They were missing Xavien Howard and Byron Jones which made it simple for Zach Wilson and the New York Jets offense. The Dolphins defense was considered to be the Dolphins strength, but that has not been the case so far this season.
