Many fans and analysts believed the Dolphins were going to go get one of the draft’s top running backs last week. That wasn’t the case as the Dolphins decided to add better players elsewhere. As it stands now, Myles Gaskin is in the drivers seat as the starting running back after his solid season last year. Brian Flores believes the additions of Jaylen Waddle and Will Fuller will aid the running game, which I agree with. Defenses can’t stack the box against the Dolphins offense or else that leaves Fuller and Waddle with one-on-ones and they’re just going to blow right past defenders.
