Would the Dolphins consider Penei Sewell? Well the option should be on the table, but I just don’t see it happening. The Dolphins drafted three o-lineman last year in Austin Jackson, Robert Hunt, and Soloman Kindley. Kindley was probably the best of the three after being selected in the fourth round. But he plays guard and should be safely slotted in as the teams starting right guard heading into the season. Jackson and Hunt had some growing pains, but the team shouldn’t give up on them after one year. The Dolphins have more pressing needs and at #6, they can land one of the top pass catching prospects in this years draft.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.

The Oregon Ducks put on a great show, starring quarterback Justin Herbert, just hours before the great shutdown of 2020 put a clamp on pro days and player workouts before the last draft. And the Miami Dolphins weren’t able to get general manager Chris Grier or head coach Brian Flores to that fateful workout before they made their big quarterback decision.

Miami Dolphins were smart to trade down in 2021 NFL Draft because they gained an extra first-round pick in ‘23 and will still get a player they covet and need.
