It was fun while it lasted but don’t expect Ryan Fitzpatrick back next season. The Dolphins appear to be committed to Tua Tagovailoa as their starting quarterback, unless one of those crazy trades for Deshaun Watson or Russel Wilson happens. Fitzpatrick would love to be a starter or at least compete for a starting spot. He won’t get that in Miami unless he wants to play reliefer again. Be interesting to see what veteran the team will bring in to backup Tua though.
