If you want to be a winning football team, you have to keep your best players around. This coming offseason, Emmanuel Ogbah and Mike Gesicki will both enter free agency if they and the Dolphins cannot agree to new contracts. Ogbah has been a a key contributor on defense since joining the team in 2020 and has easily exceeded expectations. Mike Gesicki has developed into a big playmaker on offense and, in my opinion, the best offensive player on the Dolphins. But the NFL is a business and sometimes these contract talks just don’t work out.
