A day after the Jay Ajayi trade, Adam Gase met with the media and said that his relationship with his former running back was up and down. It was just time to head separate ways and start thinking for the future. It’s obvious now that Ajayi was not in the team’s long term plans and Gase said he likes where they’re at right now with Damien Williams and Kenyan Drake.
