People will call me a homer, but I don’t think the hit on Joe Flacco, by Kiko Alonso, deserves a suspension. Was it a bad hit? Yes, it was and Kiko will likely see a fine for it. As analyst have pointed out, Flacco slid really late and there was just no way for Alonso to stop himself from making that hit. It was a bad night all around as that game was starting to get nasty.
