Though it was a surprising move, it was going to happen eventually. Yesterday the Dolphins released Byron Maxwell, a move that was probably going to be made this coming offseason. The writing was on the wall when rookie Cordrea Tankersly started and hasn’t let go of that starting position. Baxwell hasn’t been active for the last three game due to an injury, but he fell out of favor with the staff. David Fales will take Maxwell’s roster spot.
