The Dolphins pass catchers this season seem to be allergic to catching the football. In the pass two weeks, there have been 10 dropped passes. That’s a scary number as that’s five drops per week. The dropped passes must come to and end and the only way to fix those drops is to hit the jug machines and get more reps.
You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day's round-up below.

DAVIE — Drop, drop, drop, drop, drop... It seems contagious, and they're all taking part. Jarvis Landry, Jay Ajayi, Julius Thomas, Leonte Carroo, Jakeem Grant, Kenny Stills, MarQuies Gray... Drop, drop, drop, drop...
Dolphins Offense
There’s good news for the Dolphins offense, but also some issues left to resolve | Miami Herald
The good news first: I’m told the Miami Dolphins offense that seemed to hate itself the first four games this season because players constantly made mental mistakes -- with offensive linemen blocking the wrong guys or receivers running the wrong routes or Jay Cutler throwing to the wrong place -- made fewer such mistakes last Sunday against Atlanta.

More Kenyan Drake? Adam Gase says: ‘be right … do your job.’ | The Daily Dolphin
DAVIE — Kenyan Drake seems to be stuck in neutral. And in order for Drake to take off in his second season as a Miami Dolphin, coach Adam Gase has a clear message, which sounds familiar: When you get your chances, do the right thing.
Dolphins Wide Receivers
Dolphins coach Adam Gase trusts WR DeVante Parker on health | The Daily Dolphin
DAVIE—Adam Gase saw it too many times as an assistant coach. A player would contend that his injury was significant enough to warrant missing time, and a coach wouldn’t believe him. All the incidents like that made him determined not to be that way when he got his chance.
Dolphins Secondary
Adam Gase: Dolphins CB Byron Maxwell always finds way to get on field | The Daily Dolphin
DAVIE—Good luck trying to figure out what the Dolphins are doing with veteran cornerback Byron Maxwell. He’s been demoted behind rookie Cordrea Tankersley and Alterraun Verner, and it’s unclear what part of that downfall is a result of performance and what’s attributable to injury.

7 Best Miami Dolphins offseason additions | The Daily Dolphin
No, Julius Thomas isn't making this list. We're only five games into the 2017 Miami Dolphins season, so, yes, things could change. But it appears Mike Tannenbaum, Chris Grier and Adam Gase have made some smart off-season additions, especially on defense.
