This week the Miami Dolphins are up against the Green Bay Packers. If you want to read about the opposition's depth chart, you are in the right place.
Offense
Position | First String | Second String | Third String | Other |
WR | Jordy Nelson | Jarrett Boykin | Jeff Janis
LT | David Bakhtiari | Derek Sherrod
LG | Josh Sitton | Lane Taylor
C | Corey Linsley | Garth Gerhart
RG | T.J. Lang | Lane Taylor
RT | Bryan Bulaga | Derek Sherrod
TE | Richard Rodgers | Brandon Bostick | Andrew Quarless | Ryan Taylor |
WR | Randall Cobb | Davante Adams
QB | Aaron Rodgers | Matt Flynn | Scott Tolzien
RB | Eddie Lacy | James Starks | DuJuan Harris |
Matt Flynn beat out Scott Tolzien to take the backup quarterback job. Tolzien may present more upside than Flynn and could be the team's long-term solution as the back-up quarterback, but Matt Flynn at this very moment provides a safe pair of hands that works well in Mike McCarthy's offense. Flynn has proven time and time again that he can win games for Green Bay when Aaron Rodgers is injured. At running back, the team only has three. This is probably their best running back trio in a while, even though they have struggled so far this season behind a porous offensive line. They also kept John Kuhn at fullback, who can run up the middle on short-yardage downs and in emergencies. Against the Dolphins, the Packers will hope that their playmaking talent steps up to the plate. Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb in particular will be looking to make explosive plays against Miami's defense.
Defense
Position | First String | Second String | Third String | Other |

NT | Letroy Guion | Mike Pennel
RDE | Mike Daniels | Josh Boyd
LOLB | Clay Matthews | Mike Neal | Jayrone Elliott
LILB | A.J. Hawk | Sam Barrington | Carl Bradford
MLB | Brad Jones | Jamari Lattimore | Carl Bradford
ROLB | Julius Peppers | Nick Perry | Carl Bradford
LCB | Tramon Williams | Davon House | Demetri Goodson
RCB | Sam Shields | Casey Hayward | Jarrett Bush
SS | Morgan Burnett | Sean Richardson
FS | Micah Hyde | Ha Ha Clinton-Dix |
On defense, the Packers have continued to stack undrafted free-agents onto the roster. Nose tackle Mike Pennel and outside linebacker Jayrone Elliot both made the team. Pennel, from Colorado State-Pueblo, could see some playing time this season after the loss of B.J. Raji for the season with a torn biceps. So far this season the Packers have struggled on the defensive line. A 4-3 switch looked to be on the cards under Dom Capers, but the team is still playing a variation of the 3-4 alignment, causing personnel problems - Datone Jones and Letroy Guion aren't heavy enough, and Mike Daniels is lacking in height and arm length. The Dolphins can definitely take advantage the Packer's defensive woes.
