Although we have known all week that quarterback Ryan Tannehill was out of the Miami Dolphins’ Week 7 contest against the Detroit Lions, it became official on Friday with the team’s injury report release. Joining Tannehill, who is battling a shoulder injury, as ruled out for the Dolphins are defensive end Charles Harris, who has a calf injury, and defensive end Jonathan Woodard, who sustained a concussion last week.

The Lions have ruled out running back Theo Riddick who has a knee issue.

Miami also listed tight end A.J. Derby (foot), cornerback Bobby McCain (knee), safety T.J. McDonald (knee), wide receiver DeVante Parker (quadriceps), and defensive end Cameron Wake (knee) on the report, all as questionable. This could be the return of McCain and Wake, both of which have missed games dealing with their injuries, and would be a huge benefit to Miami to have back on the field this week.

The Lions have defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder), guard T.J. Lang (concussion), and tight end Michael Roberts (knee) all on the report as questionable.

The Dolphins and the Lions will kick off at 1pm ET on Sunday in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
