Saints vs. Dolphins injury report finalized

Miami Dolphins v New York Jets

The Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints have released their final injury reports for this Sunday’s Week 4 contest. The game, which will be played in London’s Wembley Stadium, will kickoff at 9:30am ET, with the telecast being broadcast on Fox.

Each team only ruled out one player for the game, with Miami sidelining tackle Eric Smith with a knee injury. The Saints will be without linebacker Ben Heeney, also with a knee issue.

The Dolphins also had one player in the doubtful category, defensive tackle Jordan Phillips. Miami’s starting defensive tackle did not practice on Wednesday, then was limited in practices Thursday and Friday, as he recovers from an ankle injury.

The rest of the injury report is all questionable players, with Miami listing nine players in the category: running back Jay Ajayi (knee), linebacker Chase Allen (neck), linebacker Kiko Alonso (shoulder), guard Isaac Asiata (ankle), long snapper John Denney (hamstring), wide receiver Jakeem Grant (ankle), linebacker Rey Maualuga (hamstring), wide receiver Kenny Stills (hand), and cornerback Alterraun Verner (hamstring). The Saints’ questionable list included tackle Terron Armstead (shoulders), cornerback Sterling Moore (chest), wid receiver Willie Snead (hamstring), and tackle Zach Strief (knee).

The Dolphins removed safety Nate Allen and center Mike Pouncey from the report, while the Saints pulled running back Adrian Peterson and linebacker Nathan Stupar from the list.
