The Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers have each released their first injury reports of the week as they prepare for a Monday Night Football showdown this week. Both teams had several players show up on the report, with the Dolphins leading the way with players who did not practice on Thursday, headlined by defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who injured his knee against the Oakland Raiders last week.
The Dolphins’ full list of players who did not participate in Thursday’s practice was wide receiver Jakeem Grant (illness), offensive tackle Ja’Wuan James (hamstring), Suh, safety Michael Thomas (knee), and running back Damien Williams (illness). The Panthers had defensive end Charles Johnson (rest) and center Ryan Kalil (neck) not workout.
The limited in practice list for Miami was shorter, with linebacker Mike Hull (shoulder/ankle) and cornerback Bobby McCain (hamstring) both in the category. The Panthers’ limited participants included safety Mike Adams, who has a concussion; quarterback Cam Newton, with a right shoulder issue; tight end Chris Manhertz, with a concussion; wide receiver Curtis Samuel, who has an ankle problem; and, tackle John Theus, with a concussion.
Miami listed quarterback Jay Cutler (ribs), defensive end William Hayes (hamstring), guard Ted Larsen (biceps), and center Mike Pouncey (hip) as full participants. Carolina listed kicker Graham Gano (right knee), running back Jonathan Stewart (toe), and guard Trai Turner (knee) in the full category.
