The Miami Dolphins are heading into a Week 13 contest against the Baltimore Ravens with several starters banged up. The team had five players nor participate in practice, with another four being limited during the workout. The Ravens, meanwhile, had three players miss practice.
Did not practice
For the Dolphins, offensive tackle Branden Albert, offensive tackle Ja'Wuan James, wide receiver Rishard Matthews, defensive tackle Earl Mitchell, and center Mike Pouncey all did not practice. Albert was held out of practice to give him a rest day, with the team having done the same thing last week. James has been dealing with a toe injury for the last several weeks, including missing the last four games. Matthews suffered a ribs injury early in last week's New York Jets game when he was hit trying to make a catch. Mitchell suffered a calf injury during the Jets game while Pouncey's foot was injured in the game as well, with both players missing most of the game due to their respective injuries.
The Ravens did not have wide receiver Marlon Brown, tackle Eugene Monroe or tight end Maxx Williams at practice. Brown is dealing with a back injury, Monroe a shoulder problem, and Williams is in the league's concussion program.
Limited
The Dolphins saw limited participation in practice from linebacker Jelani Jenkins, wide receiver Jarvis Landry, linebacker Koa Misi, and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips. Jenkins has been slowed by an ankle injury for a couple of weeks now though he was able to play last Sunday. Similarly, Landry has been dealing with a knee injury and Misi an abdominal issue, but both players were on the field last week. Phillips sustained a shoulder injury against the Jets.
The Ravens did not list any players as limited.
Full
Miami listed running back Jay Ajayi, safety Shamiel Gary, linebacker/defensive end Chris McCain, linebacker Kelvin Sheppard, and tight end Dion Sims as full participants. Ajayi has a shoulder injury, Gary a foot problem, and McCain has been dealing with a hip injury for several weeks. Sheppard has a hamstring injury and Sims has an injured neck.
Baltimore listed guard Kelechi Osemele as a full participant with a knee injury.
