The Miami Dolphins and New York Giants will take the primetime stage in Week 14 with a Monday Night Football game. Since the clubs do not play until Monday, they were not required to release their initial injury reports until Thursday, as compared to the normal release of Wednesday before a Sunday contest. Both teams did just that last night.

The Dolphins saw four players not practice, starting with offensive tackle Branden Albert, who has been getting an rest-day each of the last few weeks and is again listed with a "not injury related" categorization of why he did not participate in Thursday's practice. Offensive tackle Ja'Wuan James, who has been sidelined since injuring his toe in Week 8 against the New England Patriots, continues to not practice and is expected to be ruled out of the game later this week. Wide receiver Rishard Matthews is also expected to miss this week's game as he deals with a ribs injury he sustained two weeks ago. Center Mike Pouncey also missed practice with a foot injury, an issue that saw him miss practice time last week, but allowed him to play against the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday.

Asked about the status of James and Matthews on Wednesday, Dolphins interim head coach Dan Campbell explained, "Ja'Wuan James doesn't look like he'll be available. I would be leaning towards Matthews as probably not, but it could still be a day-to-day. If he comes in tomorrow and he feels significantly better then we'll see. At this time, I don't know and I don't feel great about either one of them playing."

The Giants saw tackle Ereck Flowers and linebacker Devon Kennard not participate in practice. Flowers is dealing with an ankle injury and Kennard has a foot and hamstring issue.

Miami linebacker Jelani Jenkins was limited in Thursday's practice due to an ankle injury. Also limited were defensive tackle Earl Mitchell (calf) and wide receiver Kenny Stills (ankle). New York's limited list included safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) and offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse (back).

The Dolphins also included long snapper John Denney and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips on the injury report, categorizing both of them as full participants. Denney is dealing with a neck issue and Phillips has a shoulder problem.

The game on Monday will air on ESPN. Kickoff at Miami's Sun Life Stadium will be at 8:30pm ET.
