The Miami Dolphins have once again started slowly in an NFL game, making it four-of-four for the 2015 season. This week, as they trail 10-0 to the New York Jets, the news may be even worse. As the Jets were moving the ball on their second possession, ultimately leading to a field goal, Miami Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes limped off the field after trying to defend wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
The injury to Grimes has been described as a knee injury, making him questionable to return.
The Dolphins will have to rely on Jamar Taylor and Brice McCain as the primary cornerbacks if Grimes is not able to return. The team will also utilize Zack Bowman and Bobby McCain , and could look to move Michael Thomas to cornerback if neded.
The Dolphins forced a punt on the Jets third drive of the game and now have the ball as the first quarter ends.
