Dolphins injury report updated; Patriots injury report remains same

The Miami Dolphins made one minor adjustment to their injury report from Monday to Tuesday. The New England Patriots' report remains the same.

The Miami Dolphins will visit the New England Patriots in a Thursday night contest this week, meaning both teams are pushing out their injury reports much earlier in the week than is standard for a Sunday game. That also means that both teams released "estimated" injury reports on Monday, since the first day after a game is typically a rest and recovery day for the teams. With last night's release of the Tuesday injury report, it appears both teams did a fairly good job of estimating their Monday report.

The Patriots did not make any changes to their report, listing defensive lineman Trey Flowers (knee/shoulder), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (ribs), and guard Josh Kline (shoulder) as full participants for both days; running back Brandon Bolden (hamstring), running back Dion Lewis (abdomen), wide receiver Keshawn Martin (hamstring), and guard Shaq Mason (knee) were all limited: and offensive lineman Marcus Cannon (toe), linebacker Rufus Johnson (ill), and defensive end Jabaal Sheard (ankle) were all non-participants.

The Dolphins had one minor adjustment to their report. On Monday, linebacker Chris McCain was listed as a non-participant in practice for a non-injury related reason. McCain was at the hospital for the birth of his first child, a daughter. He returned to the team on Tuesday, listed as a full participant in the workout. Other than that change, Miami's injury report remained the same: defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (ankle) and center Mike Pouncey (hip) were full participants while cornerback Zack Bowman (shoulder), cornerback Brent Grimes (knee/ribs), cornerback Brice McCain (knee), quarterback Matt Moore (nose), and linebacker Spencer Paysinger (groin) were all limited.

Both teams will release their final injury reports this evening, which will include the status of all the players for Thursday's game. The teams will kickoff at 8:25 ET Thursday night.
