The Miami Dolphins linebacking corps continues to shrink, as starting middle linebacker Koa Misi has joined strong-side linebacker Dannell Ellerbe on the sideline. Ellerbe, who is officially questionable to return, left the game in the first quarter with a hip injury. Misi has been ruled out of the contest with an ankle injury.
Misi recorded two tackles in the contest before having to leave. He was originally listed as questionable to return, but was downgraded to out just before halftime.
Miami came into the game down two linebackers, with Philip Wheeler and Jordan Tripp both ruled out of the game early in the week. Along with Wheeler, the injuries to Ellerbe and Misi means Miami must play most of Sunday's game against their AFC East rivals without any of their three starting linebackers. Jason Trusnik, Jonathan Freeny, Jelani Jenkins, and Chris McCain are the only active linebackers remaining for Miami.
