The Miami Dolphins have a pretty clean injury report heading into their Week 17 division rivalry matchup with the NEw York Jets. In the top two categories, Miami has no one ruled out of the game, and just defensive end Derrick Shelby is listed as a non-participant in practice. Shelby is dealing with an ankle injury.
The limited list is fairly lengthy for Miami, but most of these players can be expected to play by the time the game rolls around. Tight end Charles Clay continues to be bothered by a hamstring/knee injury, while linebacker Jelani Jenkins has a foot injury, safety Don Jones has a shoulder problem, defensive tackle Earl Mitchell has a problem with his back, defensive tackle Jared Odricl has an ankle issue, offensive tackle Dallas Thomas has a foot problem, running back Daniel Thomas as an issue with his knee, and wide receiver Mike Wallace is dealing with a back injury.
Miami also had cornerback Cortland Finnegan, who has been nagged by a sprained ankle for nearly the entire second half of the season, linebacker Jonathan Freeny, who is dealing with a hamstring issue, and linebacker Koa Misi, with both a hamstring and knee issue, listed as full participants in the workout.
The Dolphins placed offensive lineman Nate Garner and cornerback Jamar Taylor on the non-football illness and injured reserve lists, respectively, earlier this week
For the Jets, wide receiver Percy Harvin, with an ankle injury and a problem with his ribs, offensive lineman Nick Mangold, who has an injured finger and ankle, defensive back Rontez Miles, with a shin issue, and defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson, with a toe injury and illness, were all non-participants in Wednesday's practice.
Offensive lineman Willie Colon, with a knee problem, and defensive backs Jaiquwan Jarrett and Darrin Walls, both with shoulder injuries, were all limited on Wednesday. Defensive back Antonio Allen, with a hand injury, kicker Nick Folk, dealing with a problem in his right hip, and running back Chris Johnson, who has a knee issue, fully participated in the practice.
The Dolphins host the Jets in the season finale for both teams. Kickoff is at 1pm ET Sunday.
