Cameron Wake injury keeps him limited in practice; Full Dolphins vs Saints injury report

The Miami Dolphins head to New Orleans to face the Saints on Monday Night Football this weekend. The teams released their first injury reports of the week last night, including Cameron Wake officially being "limited" on the report.

The Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints will conclude the NFL's Week 4 schedule this week with a Monday Night showdown between two undefeated teams. With the Monday night kickoff, the teams did not have to release their first official injury report of the season until yesterday.

Of course, the main name on the report for the Dolphins is All Pro defensive end Cameron Wake, who is officially listed as "limited" in Thursday's practice. Wake was injured early in the Dolphins' 27-23 win last week over the Atlanta Falcons, leading to him missing nearly the entire game. He was later diagnosed with a mild sprain of his MCL. However, he has been working out, albeit in a limited status, since the game.

To what degree Wake is limited, or what his chances are of playing this week, is still not known.

Joining Wake in the limited list are safety Chris Clemons (hamstring/quad), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (ribs), linebacker Jonathan Freeny (shoulder), defensive tackle Paul Soliai (knee), and linebacker Koa Misi (shoulder). The team also included wide receiver Brandon Gibson (knee), center Mike Pouncey (ankle), linebacker Philip Wheeler (thumb), and safety Jimmy Wilson (groin) as full participants in the practice.

Cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin) is the only player for Miami who did not practice.

For the Saints, defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley (calf), safety Roman Harper (knee), running back Mark Ingram (toe), defensive end Tom Johnson (hamstring), guard Tim Lelito (calf), wide receiver Lance Moore (hand), and defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee) all did not practice on Thursday. Safety Isa Abdul-Quddus (ankle), cornerback Chris Carr (knee), Jahri Evans (hamstring), and cornerback Jabari Greer (back) were all limited on the day.

New Orleans also had wide receiver Marque Colston (foot), defensive end Glenn Foster (ankle), linebacker Junior Galette (hamstring), defensive end Akiem Hicks (knee), linebacker Curtis Lofton (knee), tackle Zach Streif (neck), and linebacker Marez Wilson (elbow) were all full participants.

The Saints will practice again taday, while the Dolphins will use the day as their rest day. A second practice report will be released today, with the final injury report due from both teams on Saturday.
