Dolphins vs Texans: Dustin Keller injured during second quarter

Miami Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller has left the team's preseason game against the Houston Texans with an apparent knee injury.

Miami Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller was carted off the field during the second quarter of the team's game against the Houston Texans tonight.  Keller had one reception for 14 yards on the night.

Keller was out in the flat when quarterback Ryan Tannehill dumped a pass to him.  As he tried to make the reception, Texans cornerback D.J. Swearinger broke up the pass, but hit Keller in the knee.  Keller immediately crumpled to the ground and was clearly in pain.

The Dolphins signed Keller to a one year contract this season, bringing him to Miami from their AFC East rivals, the New York Jets.

The team huddled around Keller as he was helped onto the cart and taken to the locker room.  Swearinger went over and said something to Keller as well.
