In a constant story line this year, Miami Dolphins cornerback Dimitri Patterson has injured his groin and had to leave the team's game against the San Diego Chargers. Officially, he is listed as questionable to return. Nolan Carroll has come in to fill the position.
Patterson is having a great year, when he is able to get on the field. He's missed five games already with the groin problem, but has a team high four interceptions, which is tied for second in the league. He's been a worthy addition to the team, which claimed him on waivers late last year, but cannot shake the injury bug.
Currently, the Dolphins are tied with the Chargers 10-10 early in the third quarter.
