Jonathan Martin illness could lead to Tyson Clabo starting for Dolphins

A week after losing his starting slot on the offensive line, tackle Tyson Clabo could be headed back to the right tackle position this week thanks to an illness for Jonathan Martin.

The Miami Dolphins have a short week this week, coming off Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots to host the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. While the both teams will have sore muscles, banged up joints, and other physical ailments they are trying to battle through this week, it's an illness that may have the biggest impact on the Dolphins' lineup.

Starting right tackle Jonathan Martin has been unable to practice through the first two workouts of the week with an undisclosed illness. The team has a walkthough today, but it does not look likely that Martin will be available on Thursday night.

If Martin is indeed out of the game, Tyson Clabo would move into the starting lineup. Clabo lost his position as the starting right tackle last week when the Dolphins traded for Bryant McKinnie. The former Ravens tackle took over as the starting left tackle, moving Martin to the right side and Clabo to the bench.

The Dolphins and Bengals will release their final injury report today before tomorrow's contest. Kickoff is at 8:25pm Thursday Night on NFL Network.
