The Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots game started well for Brandon Gibson, continuing his hot streak with another touchdown catch. However, on the next possession, it all came crashing to an end.
Gibson jumped for a pass, and immediately looked at his knee after the play. He then limped to the sideline, where he went to the trainers table before being carted to the locker room. He was then reported as doubtful to return, however, Albert Breer is reporting, it's worse than that:
Per source, the initial diagnosis for Dolphins WR Brandon Gibson is that his knee injury is likely season-ending.

The Dolphins have only been carrying four wide receiver on their 53-man roster, so, if this is indeed a season ending injury, the team will likely look to add another receiver. The NFL's trade deadline is this Tuesday, with several wide receivers considered on the market, including Hakeem Nicks, Josh Gordon, Greg Little, and Kenny Britt.
