Vaughn Martin Contract Terms - 2 years, $4 million total

1

This is a contract typical for a backup defensive tackle. By comparison, Tony McDaniel, the former Dolphins backup defensive tackle who just signed with the Seattle Seahawks, previously played under a $3 million per year deal. Per Adam Caplan, 3-4 teams were trying to sign Martin.

Aaron Rodgers soon to become NFL's highest-paid quarterback

Not Phin related, but first Flacco gets a huge deal for the Ravens now Grean Bay. Interesting..... wondering how Green Bay is going to work out the contract, so they don't have to lose players in the long run.

You're the GM

4

Hey all. I've been doing a fantasy football blog for a few years now and during the off season, I concentrate on the draft. I attempt to do a comprehensive draft, team by team, on what I would do as the team's GM. Check out what I've done for your team and drop a comment or two on what you think and what you might do differently. If you think it's worth a read, point others to the site that you think may be interested and come back for the other team write-ups. Also, if any of you are interesting in becoming a contributor and creating some posts, please let me know in the comments and we'll see about getting you set up. Thanks for your time and I hope you enjoy it.

Miami Dolphins Publicly Confirm Leaked Logo is Real

+

Dolphins CEO Mike Dee blames the original leak on an employee at Nike. The team has decided to unveil the logo more or less officially by posting photos of Jared Odrick wearing a t-shirt with the logo. Click here for photos of Odrick showing off the new logo.

The Miami Dolphins Are Awful at the Whole "Secrecy" Thing, and Just Give Up

5

A photograph was posted on the Miami Dolphins' Facebook page that shows Jared Odrick wearing a T-shirt with the "leaked" Dolphins logo. At this point, the logo (not due to be officially "unveiled" until late April) has been... 1. Intentionally leaked by a jersey/shoe blog, 2. Accidentally leaked by the official website of the NFL, 3. Shown on a T-shirt worn by a player in a team-supplied photograph, and 4. Confirmed as real by the Miami Herald. UPDATE: Miami Dolphins CEO Mike Dee tweeted this photo as well, so the team has apparently decided to stop pretending that there's a chance the leaked logo isn't real. Consider Odrick's T-shirt as the "semi-official" unveiling that was forced by recent leaks.

This verifies the logo...NFL.com

Look at the left and you will see that NFL.com has replaced our old logo with the new logo. UPDATE-someone must have noticed or made a stink because the new logo has since been switched back to the old logo. UPDATE 2The team has now come out and confirmed the logo on NFL.com was in fact the new logo.
