The 2014 Pro Bowl rosters have been announced. 4 Dolphins made the cut despite a shutout of the top fan votes. C Mike Pouncey (A Phins O-lineman in the Pro Bowl!?) DE Cameron Wake (Probably in based on name though he has had some dominant moments) CB Brent Grimes (Absolutely deserved) P Brandon Fields (Finally!!) You could make an argument for Olivier Vernon and Charles Clay getting snubbed but I don't think anyone outside of those 6 should be anywhere near the Pro Bowl.

Thought this was a very good article on the dolphins LB's stinking. I do wonder if it is scheme more than personel.

Just as many of us fans have suspected. Why do we have to wait for a player to bring this to the attention of the coaching staff? Your thoughts?

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has a history of resting starters once their playoff seed is clinched (he did it 4 times as coach of the Philadelphia Eagles), and the Chiefs are locked into the #5 seed, regardless of whether they win in week 17 or not. Reid says he hasn't made a decision on whether or not to play mostly backups, but he admitted he's already giving half of the first-team reps to the backups. This is good news for the Dolphins, who in addition to needing to win against the Jets, also need EITHER the Ravens to lose to the Bengals OR the Chargers to beat the Chiefs. If all 3 teams win, creating a 3-way tie at 9-7, the Dolphins win due to the conference record tiebreak. Some have argued that the Chargers won't have anything to play for at 4:25 p.m. if the Dolphins win their 1 p.m. game, but with a new coaching staff in San Diego set to continue making personnel changes this coming offseason, the Chargers will have every incentive to use this game to continue to evaluate their players and end the year on a high note with a 9-7 record.

Buck-Buck-Brawkkkkkk: Desperate for a win in its playoff quest, Miami trailed 10-0 at Buffalo. The Genetically Engineered Surimi had fourth-and-4 at midfield with 10 seconds remaining before intermission, and punted. Why not launch a Hail Mary? An incomplete Hail Mary might end the half; even if a couple seconds were left, that only gives Buffalo the ball at midfield for a Hail Mary try in the other direction. You're down by 10 points and your season in sinking slowly into the west. Why are you punting?
