The first month of the 2022 NFL season is over and we are on to Week 5 as October begins. With the Thursday Night Football game behind us, it is time to turn our attention to the full slate of Sunday games, the last Sunday before bye weeks start across the league. With 14 games on the schedule, including another London game and a renewal of the Miami Dolphins’ rivalry with the New York Jets, it is time to get to our contributor picks for the weekend.

For the second-straight week, our entire group of contributors are starting the week 0-1 after missing the Thursday game. Last week, we all had the Dolphins beating the Cincinnati Bengals. This week, we all expected the Denver Broncos to take care of the Indianapolis Colts. We do not seem to like Thursday games.

Including Thursday’s game, James McKinney leads our season standings with a 36-28-1 record. I am in second place with a 35-29-1 mark, while Marek Brave is jus behind me at 34-30-1. Josh Houtz and CT Smith are both 32-32-1 with Jake Mendel sitting at 31-33-1.

While we focus primarily on the straight-up winners picks, our contributors also have the opportunity to make picks against the spread and for the point total. You can check out those picks in the widget below, provided to us by Tallysight.

The odds are brought to us by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Here are our Sunday picks for Week 5. We will post our Monday picks tomorrow morning.
