I was doing so well, posting a thread every day (two days) showcasing some of the best players ever to rock some of the Miami Dolphins' most iconic numbers.
#22 was Mercury Morris, IMO.
#21 was running back Jim Klick, and although I missed yesterday, Reshad Jones (#20) would’ve been my answer without looking up who else came before.

So, now that we are (less) than 19 days away from the start of the Miami Dolphins 2021 training camp, I must ask which player in the team’s history was the best to wear the #19.
(Note: If Jakeem Grant is cut, I think the team should retire the #19 and burn all remaining #19 memorabilia.)
Here's a look at the unusual suspects.
Wide Receiver Theodore Ginn Jr.
'the robot' chad henne might win a super bowl this weekend, which reminded me of the time ted ginn burned darrelle revis on MNF. pic.twitter.com/HFx1WnezJF

Wide Receiver, Brandon Marshall
(this was the best video i could find.)
Wide Receiver, Jakeem Grant
on sunday, @_thedreamishere's 101-yard kickoff return broke the dolphins' franchise record for most special teams returns for a TD (4). the previous record (3) was held by ted ginn jr., freddie solomon, & mercury morris.

here's a look at all four of grant's touchdowns. #finsup pic.twitter.com/nNIqqiK1T7
and let’s tip our hat to Scott Mitchell
VERDICT
I’ll never forget where I was when I woke up and saw the news that the Miami Dolphins traded for Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Marshall may have had issues, but boy, oh boy, was he a special talent. That, to me, would be the best #19 ever to wear the jersey, though if you’re looking at it based on who did the most FOR THE DOLPHINS, Ted Ginn also deserves consideration. Heck, he might be at the top of the totem pole in that regard.
Final answer: Theodore Ginn Jr. and his family.
Who do you think is the best Miami Dolphins player to ever wear the #19. Let us know in the comments section below!

I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A WONDERFUL DAY!
(This should have been out way earlier, but I went to the grocery store and then got distracted with the kids. I’m sorry.)
