The Miami Dolphins 2021 training camp is now officially two weeks away, and that means that our countdown continues with—you guessed it—the #14! But before we go any further, let me start by saying I’m sorry. I’m sorry for missing four consecutive days without posting one of these countdowns.
Today’s article will focus on the No. 14—and all of the iconic Miami Dolphins players that wore the number over the years.
So without wasting any more of your time, here are the three best players to wear the #14 in Miami Dolphins history.
Wide Receiver, Jarvis Landry
went back to 2015 to watch clowney vs miami. so you know i had to post this beautiful TD by landry #landryganggang pic.twitter.com/coLoLukEHy

Quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick
with the playoffs on the line, @miamidolphins HC brian flores pulled his young rookie QB for the 16-year veteran.#fitzmagic completed 9/13 passes for 182 yards & a TD. most importantly, he led three 4th-quarter scoring drives (1 TD, 2 FG) & made THAT throw.

Wide Receiver, Marlon Moore?
(I was going to make a joke that it might be Jacoby Brissett or Will Fuller—for that brief period of time, we thought he was going to wear the #14—but today, we show respect to the man that paved the way for the next generation of #14’s)

Verdict
While I genuinely love and respect Ryan Fitzpatrick for what he did during his time with the Dolphins, there’s only one #14 that holds a special place in my heart—and that is Jarvis Landry.
Landry wore his heart on his sleeve and was one of Miami’s most consistent playmakers for the better part of four seasons.
No, he never had elite height or speed, but Landry was a dog. His route-running was exceptional. He was consistent in his production and went 210% on every rep. And who can forget some of those insane catches he would make?
IMO, Jarvis Landry is the best #14 in Miami Dolphins history.
jarvis landry can do more with one hand, than most wrs can do with two. pic.twitter.com/oSj8Htov7C
