Phinsider Question Of The Day-Sunday 06/13/2021 Edition

Earlier this week there was a report that Miami Dolphins up and coming linebacker, Jerome Baker had stated that while he and the team had yet to discuss a contract extension he would like to end his career with the same Dolphins team that he started it with. It appears as if declaring such loyalty to the team is a winner for certain players as it was announced today that the team and Baker had agreed on a three-year extension worth 39 million dollars. I would now likewise like to let the Miami Dolphins also know that I wish to go out of this world the same way I came into it, as a Dolphins fan. Not that I was ever really going to be given a choice in my family.

So with the extension signed today in mind, the Phinsider Question Of The Day is what other up and coming players on this current Miami Dolphins roster would you like to see the team go ahead and lockdown for the future? Are there any current young players that you would like to see the team continue to wait and see on pending their hopeful further development before deciding to extend to try and replace?

Please give us your thoughts below-

As this is a nightly post (when there is not a live game thread or the Phinsider Question Of The Day Post) feel free to not only discuss the question/topic of the day if there happens to be one but to also use this as a live thread where the rules are pretty wide open, and you can discuss nearly anything so long as you continue to follow the site rules. Also, we obviously encourage group discussions of our Miami Dolphins and the goings-on with the team from day to day. Speaking of site rules the three rules that come with a zero-tolerance policy are that we do not allow ANY personal attacks against your fellow ‘Phins fan or even a troll from another site. Flag it and walk away! There is no reason to get yourself a warning or temporary banning due to someone else’s lack of proper demeanor. Beyond that, there is no discussion or even references to anything remotely religious or political.
