Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of The Phinsider’s CAPTION THIS! Contest.
As I aimlessly scrolled through Twitter earlier this week, I saw this iconic picture bless my timeline. A picture so beautiful that it embodies not only how the Miami Dolphins front office and coaching staff feel about the Jaylen Waddle pick but how this fanbase perceives the No.6 overall pick as well.
Now, unfortunately, I don’t remember who originally posted this image. But what I do remember is they had the same intent as I did. And that was to make this picture part of a CAPTION THIS! Contest.
A lot is going on in this picture.
Not only is Brian Flores sticking his neck out like a Giraffe trying to see what’s happening on the other side of the practice, but general manager Chris Grier is here, salivating at his new investment.
It also looks like wide receivers coach Josh Grizzard (I think that’s him) is making the “Dat @$$” face, which is probably how I would’ve felt watching Jaylen Waddle live and in person.
Here are the rules, per its creator @ASuttonPFN.
“Caption This!” is a game where we try to be funny. Give the funniest caption. That’s it. If you like someone else’s caption, be so kind as to give them a REC. (If you don’t know how to REC something, please ask!) Most REC’s win.
(Please remember site rules. Innuendo = good; profanity = bad.)
Josh Grizzard: “Dat @$$.”
Chris Grier: “How much longer do I have to watch this? Waivers go through in 20 minutes, and I’m trying to see what former high school quarterback the Chiefs release so we can start getting him ready to play wide receiver. I know Brian really wants me to reach out to Brandon Jacobs about playing defensive end, but I really don’t want the distraction.
Brian Flores: “Did Blake Ferguson snap the ball .000001 of a second slower than the last rep.
“HEY BLAKE, GET IT TOGETHER! I’LL BRING JOHN DENNEY BACK!!!!!!”
