The Miami Dolphins announced on Thursday the addition of free agent offensive tackle Timon Parris. He originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Football Team in 2018 out of Stony Brook. He spent two years in Washington, appearing in four games.

He spent time last year with Washington, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Cleveland Browns.

The Dolphins adding Parris to the roster gives them a developmental tackle to bring into training camp. He joins an offensive line group that includes tackles Austin Jackson, Liam Eichenberg, Robert Hunt, DJ Fluker, and Larnel Coleman. Parris is from Floral Park, New York and was a three-time First-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection at Stony Brook and was an FCS All-American in 2017.

The Dolphins are preparing to enter phase three of the offseason training program, with voluntary organized team activities beginning next week. The team will also hold a mandatory minicamp during phase three.
