The 2021 NFL Draft is over and done with and the Dolphins have a new rookie class to introduce to the team. The team added a couple of new playmakers for Tua Tagovailoa in Jaylen Waddle and Hunter Long while adding two of the best defensive prospects in Jaelan Phillips and Jevon Holland. Let’s not forget about Liam Eichenberg who will fill a starting spot on the offensive line. All in all, those are four solid picks.
The Dolphins traded out of the 5th round for a 4th next year and that is a heck of deal. Their final two picks were in the seventh round where teams like to find those developmental players. They added a big offensive tackle in Larnel Coleman while also finally addressing the running back spot with the selection of Gerrid Doaks. I know a lot of fans wanted one of the top running back prospects in the draft this year, but Myles Gaskin wasn’t that bad last year and should perform a little better this season with all the changes on the offensive side of the ball.
You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
