The Miami Dolphins have made their final pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. After using the first of their two seventh-round picks on UMass offensive tackle Larnel Coleman, the team came back with the 244th-overall pick. They acquired this pick in a trade with the Washington Football Team in April, a deal that sent Washington guard Ereck Flowers and pick 258 later today.

Miami used the 244th pick to select Cincinnati running back Gerrid Doaks. Doaks carried the ball 87 times as a redshirt freshman, picking up 513 yards with two touchdowns. He missed his sophomore season with a sports hernia before returning in 2019, carrying the ball 100 times for 526 yards with five touchdowns. Last year, he had 144 attempts for 673 yards with seven touchdowns. Over his collegiate career, he also caught 36 passes for 407 yards with four touchdowns.
