2021 NFL Draft: Dolphins seventh-round pick brings Larnel Coleman to Miami

The 2021 NFL Draft is into its final day, with the final four rounds playing out over the next several hours. The Miami Dolphins sat out the fourth round this year, then traded out of the fifth round in a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They now have made their first pick of the final day, using the 231st-overall pick to select University of Massachusetts offensive tackle Larnel Coleman.

Coleman made his first appearance at UMass in 2017 after a redshirt season. He played in 12 games with one start that year, then started all 12 games as a sophomore in 2018, playing at right tackle. He moved to the left side for all 12 games in 2019, then stayed there for the four-game schedule of UMass in 2020. He is still a project as a lineman, with plenty of potential to be unlocked.
