Phinsider Question Of The Day- 2021 NFL Draft Bold Predictions Edition 04/28/2021

Every year we enter the period right before the NFL draft with some sort of preconceived idea of what our Miami Dolphins are going to do in the draft or at least with the first pick of the draft. We have either absorbed the plethora of rumors that all point in one direction or have perhaps taken the word of someone in the front office when they state something as gospel despite these statements about various players often served up to the public as smokescreens for the rest of the league's teams. Sometimes the team does exactly what the fan base and the media believes will happen like when they selected Tua Tagovailoa with their first pick in last year's draft. Other times they throw you a complete curveball, trade way up in the first round of the draft for a player (Dion Jordan) that could have been the next incarnation of Jason Taylor but instead, we drafted a head case with a drug issue who wound up cut for nothing after four years that saw him barely see the field due to multiple suspensions by the league and a failed physical.

This year we enter the draft with no clear idea of what the Miami Dolphins wish to do. Not even the media seems to have come to a consensus given the various mock drafts that I have seen in the last couple of weeks and the Dolphins do not seem inclined to tip their hand at this point. There is of course a list of obvious choices for this team to select if they stay put where they are currently with their bevy of picks or decide to move up or down in various rounds of the draft. We all have our favorites and what we want the team to do despite this lack of clarity. So tonight’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is what is it you think the Dolphins will do with their picks and beyond that is there a bold prediction or two that you would like to make as to something that the team will do that might surprise us all as we have seen in the past? I have long noticed that no matter how out of leftfield a move this team makes it always seems as if at least one or more of our site members predicted it in some form beforehand even if they were just guessing or I guess we could call them educated guesses.

So give us your predictions bold or not as to what we will see in the following three days from our Miami Dolphins as it relates to this years draft-

As this is a nightly post (when there is not a live game thread) also feel free to not only discuss the question/topic of the day but to use this as a live thread where the rules are pretty wide open, and you can discuss nearly anything so long as your continue to follow the site rules. Speaking of site rules the three rules that come with a zero-tolerance policy are that we do not allow ANY personal attacks against your fellow ‘Phins fan or even a troll from another site. Flag it and walk away, do not get yourself banned over another’s stupidity. Beyond that, there is no discussion or even references to anything remotely religious or political. There are plenty of sites for those discussions elsewhere but this is not and never will be one of them.
