Phinsider Radio show notes for March 29.
Albert Breer, of Sports Illustrated, had some interesting nuggets about Miami’s trades with San Francisco and Philadelphia.
- Grier called the Eagles, who owned the sixth pick, a little more than two weeks ago to ask if they would be interested in moving back to 12 if the deal with the 49ers went through.
- Dolphins “could” have second-non QB pick in the draft.
- Gains 2023 first round pick.
- Will the 49ers be worse than the Miami Dolphins next season?
- Eagles believe Ja’Marr Chase will go at five.
Peter King, also of Sports Illustrated, credited Chris Grier for being a smart general manager and mentioned that the team may move a receiver, maybe even DeVante Parker.
- Trading Parker saves $4 million
- Cutting Jakeem Grant or Albert Wilson would each save $2.8 million
- What would the return for Parker even be?
- Could Parker be enough for the Dolphins to move from 18 back up for another weapon?
