Phinsider Question Of The Day 02/22/2021

As we slip into the offseason we start to run out of quality questions to ask about both the Miami Dolphins and the NFL as a whole. So tonight we shift gears a bit. Most everyone loves to grill out in the Summer and if you live in a warmer place like I do (despite the ridiculous winter weather we had last week) in Texas, year-round grilling is the thing to do. It’s got to be one of the most American things you can do but was also super popular when I lived in Australia.

I personally love to grill out as well as use my smoker. I have had just about every kind of grill and smoker and for now, am in love with my pellet smoker. It’s just about as easy as it gets if you like to smoke with wood. There’s a wide variety of wood pellets as well as blends to meet almost any taste. It’s also so much cheaper and easier than going out to buy giant piles of wood not to mention that it feeds itself. I prefer the pecan pellets as they produce a more mild smoke that never seems to give you that over-smoked flavor but still a nice smoke ring on your meat.

So tonight’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is what is your favorite food/foods to either grill or smoke and what is your (if you are willing to give up your secrets) best award-winning recipe?

As this is a nightly post (when there is not a live game thread) also feel free to not only discuss the question/topic of the day but to use this as a live thread where the rules are pretty wide open, and you can discuss nearly anything so long as your continue to follow the site rules. Speaking of site rules the three rules that come with a zero-tolerance policy are that we do not allow ANY personal attacks against your fellow ‘Phins fan or even a troll from another site. Flag it and walk away, do not get yourself banned over another’s stupidity. Beyond that, there is no discussion or even references to anything remotely religious or political. There are plenty of sites for those discussions elsewhere but this is not and never will be one of them.
