Thomas Batte Mock Draft: Post Free Agency - Part 4 of 7

Moving along to round four of the 2020 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins have accumulated quite the haul thus far. Addressing the QB position and both OT positions in the first round, while picking up a starting C/G and RB in the second round got the offensive pieces solidified for years to come. In the third round we acquired Alabama DT Raekwon Davis to polish up the defensive run game. Next in the series we see what Miami will do with its remaining picks, with only one glaring need left to address.

Round 4: 141st Pick (Compensatory)

#141: Jeremy Chinn SS Southern Illinois

With their only pick in the fourth round, the Dolphins find their replacement to Reshad Jones in Jeremy Chinn. Overlooked due to where he played, Chinn is a freak athlete on par with Isaiah Simmons (Yes I said it). Chinn ran a 4.45 forty yard dash at 6'3 221lbs and also finished with a 41" vertical. These impressive numbers are also translated to Chinn's game film where his ball skills were consistently put on display as well as his ability to tackle in the open field. Chinn gives Flore's A LOT of options.
