Dolphins Mock Draft

I would have liked to grab more offensive linemen for y'all but I got some definite play-makers for your team. I'm a Panthers fan, but I'm really intrigued by the Dolphins coaching staff and cornerstone players.

First Round

At No. 5, I drafted Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa. He is gonna be your franchise quarterback. The only thing I'm concerned with him is his durability. Good movement in the pocket, and is a great improviser. Dan Marino said his best pro comparison is Drew Brees.

At No. 18, I grabbed LSU's Edge K'Lavon Chaisson. Very explosive from the snap and will provide some young talent on the edge along with Taco Charlton.

At No. 26, I got arguably the best running back in the class in Jonathan Taylor, with comparisons made to Ezekiel Elliott. Tough running back who would still be good behind the Dolphins porous o-line.

Second Round

At 39, I got your franchise left tackle in Austin Jackson, an athletic guy from USC. He has good hands and technique at the point of attack.

At 56, I drafted Bryce Hall, who is a great cornerback from Virginia. He's about 6 feet, and has long arms that can disrupt the ball movement. Marino compared Hall to James Bradberry, the Panthers No. 1 cornerback who has consistently locked down top receivers.

Third Round

At 70, I picked Malik Harrison to pair with linebackers Raekwon McMillan and Jerome Baker, his former teammate at Ohio State University. He's very good at tackling but struggles in coverage.

Fifth Round

At 135, I added Tyler Johnson to the receiving core. Very talented and could function in the slot well. Excellent and route running and doesn't have any red flags.

At 144, I picked up Adam Trautman, who some have compared to George Kittle with his all-in-one talent package. Would be a steal if gotten here.

Soon after 147, I drafted safety Jeremy Chinn. Very tall and a great ball hawk that could be good depth in the secondary.

Sixth Round

At 165, I drafted Tommy Kraemer from Notre Dame. Good depth with potential starter material

At 177, I got Darryl Williams from Mississippi State to bolster the offensive line. May not slide this far.

Seventh Round

At 222, I got running back Joshua Kelley, who displayed quick burst and vision in the Senior Bowl, rushing for over 100 yards in limited carries.

Y'all tell me how I did in the comments below. Can you give me a grade?
