In a recent appearance on ESPN’s “NFL Live”, the 32-year old running back mentioned the Miami Dolphins as a team he believes could be a fit in 2018. Peterson mentioned several teams during his interview, but none stood out more than the Miami Dolphins.
I mentioned Houston a couple of times. I feel like Green Bay wouldn’t be a bad look as well. Carolina. There are some options out there. You know, Miami. Down there in (Los Angeles]. That would be a nice look too with Todd Gurley,” Peterson said.
Obviously, the Dolphins are extremely happy with their current group of running backs. Kenyan Drake is the unquestioned starter, and will look to build upon his breakout 2017 season. Frank Gore was brought in to change the #culture in the locker room, and continue his Hall of Fame career in his hometown of Miami. Rookie running back Kalen Ballage was drafted to be a weapon in Gase’s offense, and could have a significant role in 2018. Miami’s three-headed monster appears to be one of the best in the league.
I’m sorry Peterson. I know Miami would be a great place to retire finish your NFL career. But as of now, there is no room for you on the Miami Dolphins.
