Dolphins locked in 5-way battle for the final AFC playoff spot

What a weird NFL season it is shaping up to be.

Even more weird, on a Sunday when the Dolphins had their first real BYE in over two seasons, their playoff odds improved.

That’s right folks, in a week where the team did not practice, the Dolphins’ playoff chances improved. Weird.

Currently, the Dolphins are in a 5-way battle for the #6 seed, and the final playoff spot in the AFC.

The other four teams battling for the final Wildcard spot, include the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, and the Tennessee Titans.

Sure, the rest of the season hinges on the health of Ryan Tannehill and several other key players on both sides of the football. But with all the key injuries the team has had to overcome, 5-5 and “In the Hunt” is all anyone could really ask for.
