The Pro Football Hall of Fame released its roster of 108 modern-era players that are up for consideration for the 2018 class, and two former Miami Dolphins legends are included on the list. Zach Thomas and Richmond Webb are both up for consideration, but they will have to survive a selection process that will reduce down to 15 finalists prior to the Super Bowl.

Thomas, who is already a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, was selected to the Pro Bowl seven times over the course of his 12-year stint in Miami. The linebacker's longtime teammate, Jason Taylor, was inducted into the Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Webb was also voted to seven Pro Bowls and served as the player in charge of keeping quarterback Dan Marino upright in the pocket. After being selected by the Dolphins in the first round of the 1990 NFL Draft, Webb played 11 seasons in Miami before finishing his career in Cincinnati.

Along with the aforementioned players, coach Jimmy Johnson is also up for modern-era consideration.
