The Splash Zone 8/8/17: Jay Cutler Is Officially A Miami Dolphin

Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

It’s official, Jay Cutler is now a Miami Dolphins. The quarterback was introduced yesterday after passing his physical and signing his contract. Adam Gase stated that Jay Cutler didn’t come out of retirement to be standing on sidelines. Though he has not been named the starting quarterback, Gase’s quote pretty much says that. Cutler won’t be ready for the teams first preseason game on Thursday, so Matt Moore will be the starter.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day's round-up below.
